Welcome to Horsham and District Kindergarten Association

Horsham and District Kindergarten Association is the licensee of six Kindergartens.

In simple terms it employs staff, looks after funding obligations and regulations to ensure quality standards are adhered to.

HDKA works with Regulatory Bodies, Department of Human Services, Horsham Rural City Council and other associated bodies.

HDKA is the umbrella organization whose Board of Management is made up of Community Expertise and elected representatives from each of its member sites.

Evelyn Shipard is the Executive Officer employed to administer and progress the association, working on day to day management issues as well as the overall health and development of Pre School Education in our area.

Each member site has its own Committee which takes care of the day to day issues at the site this includes maintenance, OH&S and Fundraising to ensure viability.

HDKA is able to lighten the load, working to establish policy, which is common across the sites.
